Cheney was the wise professor to Edwards know-it-all freshman student. I was disappointed but not surprised by Cheney's weak response to the gay marriage issue. Edwards clearly stated his opposition to the federal constitutional amendment. Cheney wisely remained silent since he disagrees with his president.
